Spring Break in Spokane

Our family traveled 3 hours away to Spokane, Washington for Spring Break 2007. We had an excellent trip and look forward to the next time.

Riding the Gondola

While at the Waterfront Park in Spokane, Washington we rode the Gondola, taking us across a violent part of the waterfalls. Yikes! Later we had lunch at "The Onion", a local favorite and now a Roberts' favorite!

Large Red Wagon

We found an interesting object on our Spring Break Vacation: a not-so-little red wagon!

Walking Tourists

When touring a city downtown, you usually do a lot of walking. That's exactly what our family did on this beautiful day. We found many bridges taking us across the Spokane Falls throughout the city. And we stopped to have some fun on the playground.

Observing

We found ourselves observing all the interesting things downtown Spokane had to offer. Our spring break is one we will not soon forget.

Feeding the Birds & Ducks

Inside the Riverfront Park there are many birds and ducks because of the massive amounts of water. We took the time to feed them some cheese crackers we had in the car. Kaden wasn't too sure about it, but Dylan thought it was great.

Lolo Day Trip

Driving the Lolo Pass is a great adventure. We went on a nice spring day. But up on the mountain it was still a little chilly!

Lolo Pass

The Lolo Pass heading into Idaho is a nice day trip to take with the family. The kids love the Idaho Welcome Center. It always has hot chocolate, coffee, and tea. It is amazing how much snow is still up there!

Setting Up

While we set up each Friday night for C.A.R.S. (Kids Club), the boys have fun "practicing" their own versions of the puppet songs.

Spring in Big Sky Country

Spring has officially sprung in Big Sky Country. We love seeing the SKY in Montana. You can see So Much of it and it is breath-taking!

Silly Pictures

When we take pictures now we have to designate whether they can be silly or serious. It's a compromise we worked out.

Serious Pictures

These were designated as the Serious Pictures. And seriously, aren't they good?

"M" Trail

Missoula is a wonderful city for enjoying the outdoors, especially when the weather is nice. This was one of those days!
