Missing Daddy

Today Landon was not with the boys at Freemo's, the local pizza hang-out. (Mo Pizza; Mo Fun!) Not much fun without Daddy. They are missing him!

Gingerbread House

Each year Lorinda's sister, Stephanie decorates Gingerbread Houses with her friends. Our family tried her little tradition this year. It was a lot of mess and a lot of fun!

Thanksgiving or Christmas?

With all the SNOW and GINGERBREAD HOUSES it might have looked more like Christmas than Thanksgiving. But indeed it was Thanksgiving we were celebrating. The snow and decorating helped keep us occupied while we missed being in Tennessee & Georgia with our families.

Our First Turkey

Our first Thanksgiving to actually bake our own turkey, our own dressing, etc. was worth taking pictures over. This will be a memory we will cherish for years to come.

Thanksgiving Week '06

Our family spread out the Thanksgiving Holiday by celebrating each night of the week. Monday we baked some yummy appetizers. Tuesday we bought a Christmas tree. Wednesday we decorated the tree and ate homemade pumpkin pie. Thursday we ATE! Friday we played in the snow and made a gingerbread house. And Saturday we fed the less fortunate.

The Griz!

Grizzly Bears are everywhere in Missoula, (the fake ones of course)! The mascot for Missoula's University is a spunky little bear called Monte. The kids took a picture with these bears in the Book Exchange located beside Paul's Pancake Parlor.

Paul's Pancake Parlor

In an effort to give our Regional Youth Director, Bishop Don Chavis, a taste of Missoula's finest breakfast, we took him to Paul's Pancake Parlor - a local favorite, especially on Game Days! The University of Montana (Grizzlies) is supported by most Missoulians. U of M has done very well this year, even in their playoff games.
