Sledding with Uncle Jeb

Dylan and Kaden wanted to invite Jeb and Abby with us Sunday when we went sledding. They accepted our invitation and joined in on the fun. A huge snowball fight didn't take long to start out there. Dylan and Kaden soon learned to use their sleds as shields. (Recently the boys have been calling Jeb, "Uncle Jeb.")

Dylan and Kaden got new sleds for Christmas. We had some great opportunities this weekend to try them out!

Freezing Fog

The weather in Montana is quite educating at times. We continue to learn more and more weather terms that we were never aware of before. One of those terms is "Freezing Fog". That is when the fog is thick and the temperatures are extremely low. It creates a beautiful Winter Wonderland scene on the trees, bushes, etc.

Celebrating Christmas at School

Kaden's class had a Pajama Party on the last day before the break. And Dylan's class had a Gingerbread House Decorating party.

Our Christmas

This was our first Christmas to NOT visit family at all during the holidays. It was different, but good all at the same time. We enjoyed our little family celebration, establishing our own traditions. We definitely missed everyone, but look forward with great anticipation to our future visit.
